This Cran-Merry Vodka Martini is sure to help spread cheer this holiday season. Crank up the Nat King Cole, cozy up next to the fire, and relax while sipping this holiday inspired martini.
Ingredients for the Cran-Merry Vodka Martini
For this recipe you will need your favorite vodka, Cointreau, and blackberry moonshine. The blackberry moonshine from Ozark Distillery has become one of our favorite libations this year. If you are looking for other uses for this great flavored moonshine then definitely check out our Southern Comfort Blackberry Bramble Style Arnold Palmer. If you are unable to find the blackberry moonshine where you live, you can substitute a berry flavored vodka as well.
For the non-alcohol portion of the drink you will need cranberry juice and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Fresh cranberries for garnish complete the martini.
In a shaker with a few ice cubes, combine a 1/4 cup of vodka, a 1/4 cup of blackberry moonshine, 2 tablespoons of Cointreau, with 3/4 cup cranberry juice and 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice. Shake until well combined.
The portions below will make enough for about two Cran-Merry Vodka Martinis. Making it for a gathering? This recipe is easily doubled or even quadrupled.
Next, pour some sugar onto a small plate, moisten the rim of the martini glass with some lemon juice or water and run the edge of the glass through the sugar.
To complete the Cran-Merry Vodka Martini, pour the drink into the sugar rimmed martini glass and garnish with some fresh cranberries. Now kick back, relax, and enjoy this seasonal sipper.
