How Long Does Homemade Creole Seasoning Last?
The Creole spice mix will keep for about 6 months, or even longer in a clean dry, container. The seasoning mix will still be ok to use after this time, but dried spices and herbs begin to lose their potency after time, so a fresh spice mix made with new herbs and seasonings is going to taste better.
Is the DIY Cajun Seasoning Spicy?
This homemade Cajun seasoning recipe is full of flavor but not overly spicy. If you want a bit more spice in the seasoning mix, then increase the amount of cayenne pepper in the recipe.
