Skip the fairgrounds! It's time to bring that sweet, crispy, powdered-sugar perfection home with these homemade griddle funnel cakes. The perfect simple dessert for your Blackstone or flattop.
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. In a 2nd bowl beat the eggs and add the liquid ingredients.
Preheat your griddle or flattop to Medium-low heat (300 degrees).
Mix together the dry and wet batter ingredients and beat until smooth.
Add the batter to a squeeze bottle or funnel.
Add ½ a tablespoon of butter to the griddle and heat until melted, then add some of the batter, in thin strips, working back and forth and then across back and forth the other way. Cooking for about1-2 minutes.
Flip the funnel cake over and cook for 60 more seconds. If needed flip one additional time and cook for 30 seconds, until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining butter and batter.
Top the funnel cakes with powdered sugar, caramel and chocolate sauce, and strawberries.
