Grilled Argentinian Choripan Chorizo Sandwich

This Argentinian Grilled Choripan recipe is topped with flavorful chimichurri and is a simple and delicious South American sandwich to make on your grill.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Argentinian Style Chorizo Sausages
  • 1 Cup Chimichurri Sauce
  • 1 French Baguette Cut into 3-4 inch sections
  • Salsa Criolla optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat a grill over medium heat (about 350 degrees F).
  • grill the chorizo sausages for about 10-15 minutes flipping about every 4 minutes. Grill until the sausages are browned and cooked though (internal temperature of at least 160 degrees). Take care not to overcook.
  • Warm or toast the baguette in an oven or on the grill and cut the bread pieced lengthwise.
  • Remove the sausages from the grill and slice in half lengthwise.
  • Place the sliced chorizo on the baguette slices and top with chimichurri and/or salsa criolla.
  • Enjoy while warm with a glass of Malbec.
