These Bourbon Cinnamon Sugar Pecans are one of our family's favorite holiday sweets. Perfectly sweet with just a hint of cinnamon and bourbon make this a great sweet snack for your holiday baking exchange, or keep them all for yourself. We won't tell.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Pecan Halves
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Bourbon
  • 1 Egg White
  • ¾ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl and mix to combine.
  • In a second bowl, beat together the egg white, bourbon, and vanilla until foaming.
  • In a bowl with a lid, toss the pecan halves with the egg white mixture until evenly coated.
  • Add in the sugar mixture and toss to combine.
  • Preheat your oven or smoker to 350 degrees.
  • Evenly spread the pecans on a cookie sheet or foil pan and cook for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before eating.
