Spanish Blackberry Red Sangria

Red sangria is the perfect Spanish beverage for those cool spring evenings, or anytime really. This Blackberry Red Sangria is our favorite version of this iconic Spanish drink. Red Wine plus Blackberry Brandy and fresh fruit=perfection.

  • Pitcher or Beverage Container

Ingredients
  

  • 750 ml Bottle Red Spanish Wine such as Tempranillo
  • cup Blackberry Brandy
  • 3 Tablespoons Liquid Cane Sugar may substitute white sugar
  • ¼ cup Orange Juice
  • 1-2 cups Assorted fruit such as Blackberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, and Pear and Apple slices

Instructions
 

  • Add the wine, blackberry brandy, liquid cane sugar, orange juice, and fruit in a pitcher or other beverage container. Stir to mix well and gently muddle some of the fruit. Place the sangria in the refrigerator overnight.
  • When you are ready to drink, pour the red sangria into wine glasses or your favorite adult beverage glassware. Top with a splash of club soda and enjoy.
