Pouring a glass of warm spiked wassail.

Wassail with Red Wine

Carne Diem Culinary
Wassail is a hot mulled cider that served a central role in the English Christmas tradition of going door to door caroling. This version uses unsweetened tea and apple cider along with fruit juices and spices and increases the Christmas cheer by adding in some red wine.
